Extremely Disappointing
I bought all 3 colors in this Echo Windowpane Silk Scarf from Echo (not Nordstrom). However, I did not see an area on their site to leave reviews, so I am doing it here. Nonetheless less, for a $100 scarf, you would think Echo would send this scarf in a beautiful keepsake box. More than this, this scarf is so insignificant, that when it arrived? I thought they must have sent me the wrong thing because it looked like a pocket square. That’s how thin, lightweight, “nothing to it scarf” came. In a small sealed clear plastic bag thrown in a shipping box from Echo. I thought it was a handkerchief. That’s how small it was folded and thin. I thought, “there is no way that this is my 36 X 36 silk scarf. Which looks and feels like a super thin cotton. A faded cotton washed look. $100?????? Yikes! I do not see this scarf lasting for the long haul. Super afraid to ever dry clean it. The photographs of these 3 on the Echo website makes this scarf look substantial, thick silk, and so on. Trick photography for sure. And no beautiful box from Echo?! I was so excited to open the box, feeling I was about to get something super special. Not. At. All. In a clear plastic bag thrown in a shipping box. If Echo doesn’t care, then why should their customer? Especially when it comes to spending $100 per scarf. In my case, $100 X 3. I feel like I was tricked, suckered, pranked, and duped. Glad that Nordstrom carries Echo scarves though B/c I have always like the brand. Still do not know what to think though about my recent Echo purchases though. Could very well be my last. If I’m going to spend $100, I want to feel like it is worth it. I did not feel this at all when I opened the box. In fact, I couldn’t believe it! For all the reasons mentioned above.
