Wide Brim Field Hat

I bought the large/XL size for my dad, not knowing he always buys his hats in a size small. It didn’t matter, though, because the inside is adjustable, and he said it fits perfectly when he tightens the band. It’s a nice material, and he loves that there’s a slip to hold his glasses.

The overall coverage of the brim is what I was looking for. As most people I never made sunscreen a part of my skin care routine. Now in my late 60’s I see the importance. So I’m seeking out these products.

i bought it to use when outside in the sun when doing yard work and mowing. I have only used it once when I was weedwacking when you are out there 3hrs running a weedwacker with no shade I aways tried to keep sun @ my back .but impossible to always do. so I bought one of these wide brim sun hats I'm glad i did. you will be glad as well always in the shade . wish I bought one sooner. I keep it in my truck so I will never be with out shade when I want it.

I have really enjoyed the quality and fit of the hat. Thesun protection factor is extremely important, and I wear the hat on walks. A great product.

I do not like it, the fit is too tight and I measured my head before purchasing the hat. I also do not like how high the top of the hat is, looks dumb on my head. Unfortunately I took all the tags off and wore the hat once so I cannot return it.

I have a large head...carefully measured at 24 inch circumference just above the ears (as advised by UVSkinz). I ordered this hat in L/XL (biggest they sell)...per description it was supposed to fit an even larger head than mine. Unfortunately on receipt I quickly found that although labeled L/XL...it did NOT fit me at all, much too tight. UVSkinz has kindly refunded my money and I have returned the hat, so I feel they run a quality outfit...just THIS specific hat seemed to run small. Otherwise hat was of good quality, wish it had fit :(
