These shorts are AMAZING!
I got these short for my birthday and at first glance I thought they might be too big (I followed the size chert exactly), but they actually fit me perfect! Also, don't be deceived by the first time you try them on....I wasn't too sure that the style looked good on me because the legs seemed a bit longer than what I'm used to wearing and they didn't quite look like the product that the model is wearing, but I gave it a shot. I'm so glad I did, because once I washed them, they looked much cuter! So I just want to say that these shorts are super cute and I will most likely be purchasing another pair in the future. I hope this review is helpful :)

Sizing is so off.
I purchased the dark and light wash in these. I normally wear a 27, but had tried in store and they were HUGE on me. So, I ordered a 26 in both pairs. The light wash fits great, the dark wash..not so much. They are huge on my waist.

This jean shorts are one of kind
I love these shorts but i had to send both of them in for alternations , the legs fit but the waist got about 2 inch gap behind … hoping they fit after i get them back .

fits great
I purchased these shorts and bought 2 sizes up because the reviews all read they run super small. WRONG. I usually wear a 28 and purchased a 30... the 30's are WAY too big. Now i have to deal with returning, which is a bit of a pain. I have to call a phone number, get a return label and exchange etc. I would prefer to be able to just do it all online vs. calling. I've called a few times and the wait is pretty long so I hung up. :(

Wouldn't buy these online, not at all true to size
I consistently wear a 25 in Wranglers, and I even sized up in these to a 26 per the reviews here. They are hard pressed to zip and button and are very tight through the butt and front, but have gapping at small of back (above butt, below waist). I'm honestly not sure even a 28 will do it if I exchange for a new size, and I am imagining much more gapping above the butt and below the waist. Additionally, they do not fit like the model. There is no gap below the cheek and they are super tight in the thighs. Again, I am consistently a 25 in Wrangler so I'm not sure why this fit is so off and so unflattering. Zero stretch, as to be expected with 100% cotton though. I wanted to love these so badly.
