stick with the kore
“Fine” is not the takeaway you want from spending $100 for a pair of athletic shorts. Big fan of the kore shorts, but not that impressed with the “hard” version. They feel lighter than the kore shorts which is nice, but imo run large, and with the drawstring in the waist having some stretch, in accentuates the “runs large” feeling. Additionally the front pockets are very big and floppy; my phone bounces around in the front pocket at anything more than a relaxed walk. The back pocket zipper sticks. Water and stains seem to be drawn to this material. They are well built and have held up very nicely, though too many disappointing aspects to these. Stick to the original
