Playa Oversize Linen Cover-Up Shirt

I am 5’5”, 160 pounds, athletic build with a 36 D chest. Remember, the fit is oversized, and it is intended to hang longer than an average top, with your shorts just peeking out of the bottom. The fabric and hems are well done. I have purchased a lot of linen tops from Zara over the past three years, and they only last one summer. The hems begin to fail, and the linen is not genuine linen since sometimes it is scratchy. I decided to spend a little more than $50 on this linen top, and I will never look back! The colors are vividly beautiful; the linen is soft and high-end. The hems are perfectly sewn, and the medium fits me perfectly. Oversized but I am not drowning in it. I LOVE linen, and for me, it is the cashmere of summer. Cozy on warm days and warm on cool nights. You can never go wrong with linen. However, I strongly encourage you to avoid cheap linen products; they are not worth it.

I have about 6 of these coverups, I have a couple of the patterned ones with different designs and a couple of the plain colored ones. I noticed the patterned ones were a thicker material than the plain colored ones I have. I got the Celeste Ecolinen and brought it on vacation with me and the second time I wore it the sleeves had a rip! I also got a oversized fit so it was very big on me! I also noticed the white color I had was ripping in the sleeve as well! Buyer beware these rip very easily and the linen is very thin! Not worth the money! My patterned ones are the only ones that have been able to hold up and I’m scared that those will start tearing soon! Not worth the money you can find a better coverup especially with the price point these sell at! Don’t make the same mistake as me and buy a bunch because now I’m stuck with two that have already ripped!
