Violeta High Waist Flare Leg Jeans

These jeans are thick denim but soft and comfortable. They are LONG. I’m 5’8” and they are perfect with a 2-3” heel. They also run a size large. I do wish they were more of a boot cut than a flare jean. I purchased a 10 and I’m 169 lbs. I am just a little worried they will stretch out in the bum and thighs while wearing which I hate. The price leads me to believe that as I have invested in high quality jeans over the years that don’t stretch out. Photos are with and without heels.

Love these high waist flares — they do run just slightly small. I’m usually a 25 in Mother Jeans, a 0, sometimes a 2 in Wit & Wisdom, and I could barely squeeze into a size 2 in these! It might be the material content as they do have a little stretch, but not too much (no material content tag, which I find odd.) I’m sizing up to a 4 and hoping they aren’t too big. They are definitely looong. I’m 5’8” and with heels these just graze the ground (which is how I like my jeans) but I would think anyone shorter would have to hem. The flare starts just below the knee so you would be able to alter a bit and not lose the style. They definitely look like a much more expensive denim and I like that there is no logo or stitching on the back pockets.

Just when I thought I didn’t need another pair of jeans I saw these at my local Nordstrom. What I like about them: love the indigo dark denim (color “open blue”), they look so sharp and clean! Love the flare, love the length (I’m 5’7 and they are long, the way I like them). They have just enough stretch and are completely form fitting to my body, but not too tight that I can’t breath or move around. Very flattering. Only thing I don’t love is it says they are high waisted, but they are not; they sit about an inch below my belly button. But hey if you love a flare with a bit of stretch, making your legs look a mile long at a great price, get these!! Tiny bit stiff but I think they’ll soften with a wash and with time.
