Splittable Breasted Topcoact

Nice looking when viewing on line, but IRL for the price this didn't live up to my expectations. I really like Vince brand in general, but I have never had a Top Coat that wasn't fully lined, and especially at this price that is a deal breaker. The lack of lining (outside of sleeves which are lined) makes the coat look cheaper quality, and additionally without the lining in back and front panels the coat tends to "stick" to your clothing like cotton sweaters and other fabrics like flannel. That causes more friction and the coat tends to lay less smoothly against your clothes beneath it. Ultimately I did not purchase after trying it on.

The listing says lined, and whoever heard of an unlined topcoat anyway? Yet this coat’s body has no lining at all, and the sleeve lining isn’t even sewn in place, it’s suspended by threads. Awkward/difficult to put on over a wool suit. And to add insult, it has not interior pockets. Very surprising, especially when it costs nearly a grand.
