Bias Cut High Waist Pants

I wanted to love these pants, because I love Vince and needed a pair of beige pants. These pants are VERY wide leg. Not as shown in photo. They are unlined crepe, so they are very 'scratchy' to the skin. I would have tolerated that except, they are extremely long. There is not hem, only a finished edge. If you look closely at the photo, you can see they were temporarily hemmed for the model. I am 5'5" and even with a moderate heel they would still need to be hemmed, significantly. The other issue I have is that the elastic waistband, while wide enough to lay well, is unattached, so it flips out, often. It would have to be sewn down in areas to keep it in place. Such simple details would have made these pants perfect beige crepe pants. I will return them, sadly.
