Waylon Slide Sandal

I don’t see any problem with the width on this shoe! It’s perfect and comfortable too. If your foot is narrow, I would avoid it because yes, then it could slip. I am between a 6 1/2 and 7 and the 7 fits just right!

I am a Sam Edelman junky and typically love all of their shoes but although this style is stunning, it’s way too wide for my feet. My feet slide around inside the covered part of the shoe, making it a trip/fall hazard. If you have wider feet then these shoes would be for you.

I found them heavy and hard to walk in. They need some kind of strap to balance weight of heel. I returned unworn. I found a great sandal the day I returned the shoe. They just came into store the day before. Just what I had been looking for: flat with thin paten black T-straps .

color does not dazzle as title suggests- it’s brown raffia NOT rich cognac :( I can’t justify $140 for lackluster looks… comfortable heel height as I appreciate low I’m 5’10”… fit is average. I would purchase at significant discount otherwise pass.

I ordered three pair of Sam Edelman sandals. Loved them all. The Rich Cognac color was such a great color. Unfortunately, all three pairs ran too wide for my foot. Also, the leather going across the foot was not soft & I found it to be uncomfortable. The style is great & if your foot is average or wide & you don’t find the leather too stiff this would be a great looking shoe!

I tried the cognac and the beech. Both fit well but the material is a little scratchy with the cognac color - it is a more textural material. However, I kept the shoe because it goes with everything.
