Valley Stream Convertible Shoulder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This black purse is a fantastic shape, which really compliments a nice dress for an evening out. I love the two straps, so I can wear the bag crossbody or as a shoulder bag. The crossbody straps length can be adjusted or removed if not being used. I like the amount of room inside the bag, it holds my iPhone 14 Pro Max easily. I also like the card slot that’s built into the purse so a wallet isn’t really necessary for a night out. The bag is made of genuine leather, which is a bit of a disappointment, because I would have preferred a higher grade of leather given the cost of the bag. Even though it’s genuine leather, the bag feels high quality. My only concern for longevity is the gold clasp detail; I’m concerned it may scratch over time. I did not see any scratches after my testing so I’m not sure that is a concern for this particular bag but I do worry about it.

The gold buckle is a nice statement piece of this purse that doesn’t feel cheap. I also love that it has the option to be worn as a crossbody with the removable strap. While the shorter strap doesn’t come off you can tuck it into the purse to hide it, if you wanted to. I will say the crossbody strap gives it more of a casual feel since it is not leather, but I personally don’t mind that. It’s also a thick strap so it’s gives my shoulders some more support when wearing it that way and helps keep the purse in place. I do wish the extra strap could adjust a little longer because it only goes to 9inches, but it’s still a good length. This purse is a magnetic buckle close, with no zipper. However there is a pocket with a zipper on the inside to keep money, keys etc. there is also a pocket on the back with the Donna Karan logo back there as well. This purse a small size and perfect for everyday use or special events. It is definitely sturdy so it most likely won’t loose its shape. I also love how many color options there are in this purse. I got the black one and it’s a beautiful dark black. While this purse is a thick leather it’s still light weight! Keep in mind it is spot clean only cause of the leather. Overall I would highly recommend this purse. I think the versatility and craftsmanship of this purse makes it well worth the price. If you’re looking for a new high end purse give this one a try!

You can wear it on your shoulder or you could wear it with the strap that makes it longer. So happy I got this DKNY bag.
