Great Handbag!

I needed an every day tote and after a lot of searching I found this one. I was a little unsure about the color but after it came and it was a very beautiful brown. It is a very spacious tote a little bit on the bigger side. there are three inner pockets which are very convenient! I love that it has a button closure and is not open and the suede lining gives it a very chic touch and of course the stud detail at the top brings life to the bag the shoulder straps are not too thick and not too thin and make carrying the bag very easy it is a little heavy if you add too much to the bag otherwise there is not a lot of pressure on your shoulder either my laptop fits great inside when I need it as well. You won’t regret buying this bag!

A bait and switch scam

Nordstrom is selling this OLD bag that is not the same design but looks similar ( mine had clearly been used and returned ) for 1850 when the tag is 1,490! The Valentino letters are at the bottom instead of top and the measurements are larger than one pictured on website. This was supposed to have been my Xmas present. It was stained on the inside , when I tried to return it to get the one I actually ordered , I was denied ! They sent letter stating this bag does not exist in their company and sent the bag back to me. I truly feel cheated out of 2,000 dollars. So far they have been unwilling to acknowledge their wrong doing. I saw another review with same complaint about this bag , they did not deliver the same bag that was sold to the customer. I will continue to try and get this resolved with customer service.

Big Bag Not Practical

Big Tote with no pockets, zippers or cushioning. Seems like it should have more organization but there are zero zippers of pockets. Looks good but not very functional. Straps arent very strong considering the weight/size capacity of what you could put inside

Buy elsewhere!

First off, I'll say that this bag is exactly what I expected. As you know, it's pretty much impossible to find a great black tote that actually has internal storage, proper straps, etc. so I knew what I was getting into. The problem is that the bag I received from Nordstrom was filthy, with spots all over the exterior. And, the price tag says $1450 (current retail is $1850) which means it is OLD. What a joke.

Wanted to Love...

This tote is so beautiful, especially in the poudre color. The leather and suede is super soft, and it's a great size for storing any and all your belongings. There's a large pocket on the inside along with a magnetic clasp. Unfortunately, I had to return it since the straps are way too close together--it's not practical if you have larger arms and shoulders, since the straps bulge outward and it's not flattering. Even with a sweater or a coat on will cause the straps to bulge. I can definitely see the straps will eventually warp in the future. Such a shame, it's a beautiful tote!

Straps fall apart

I loved this bag but unfortunately the straps started to fall apart on me ;( Luckily the service at Nordstrom is the best and took care of the situation. However I’m Leary now of buying any more Valentino bags.

nice bag

Nice bag. My only comments about the design are the straps could be alittle longer and wider. Also there should be protective feet on the bottom for the price. Probably will keep since I bought the matching wallet which is beautiful.
