V-90 Leather Sneaker (Women)

This is my first pair of V-90's but my third pair of Veja's. I haven't found a brand that puts as much emphasis on sustainability and a commitment to ethical sourcing of materials as Veja does, which is important to me. In addition to being comfortable, their leather sneakers are stylish and classic. The first time I wore my sneakers I ended up walking about 3 or 4 miles on concrete and had no issues. There was slight rubbing from the tongue, but not severe enough to severely irritate or cause blisters. By the fourth wear the leather had broken in and they fit like a glove. These are a perfect shoe to bring on a trip where space is tight as you can go from day to night. They look fantastic with a blazer and slacks for work, a cute dress for dinner with friends, or a pair of cut-off jorts or wide leg jeans on a hot summer day. These sneakers truly elevate any outfit and seem to look good no matter the occasion. The fit is slightly long but also slightly narrow - at last compared to the Campo model. Since these are only available in whole sizes and I'm a solid 10, I sized up to the 42 as the 41 was ever so slightly short and I wanted to be able to wear thicker socks. But if you aren't familiar, these are a more comfortable version of the V-10's. The soft padding on the tongue and the heel does wonders and the sole has a bit of a platform to provide comfort if you are wearing for extended periods of time. I definitely recommend giving these a try!

I was home when the delivery arrived, I opened the package immediately. The shoe box was ripped and crushed with a rubber band around it to hold it together. Inside the box, it was obviously the shoes were used and had been worn. They were thrown in the box with a piece of crumpled old tissue paper. There was nothing inside the shoe at all to hold its shape. They were tied incorrectly and haphazardly. I was extremely disappointed because my daughter really wanted these shoes. It is unconscionable that Nordstrom would Ship Anything in that condition. I called Nordstrom’s phone number to immediately start a return and immediately sent them back . I’m so glad I checked before putting them under the tree. It amazes me that this review came after they were shipped back, and I received my refund.
