Coastline Faux Fur Throw Blanket

This is a lovely blanket. The color is beautiful (slate), so soft and warm. However, I don’t understand all of the 5 star reviews. The 2 sides of the blanket are separate pieces of fabric that aren’t tacked/sewn together so they continually separate. In the wash, everything ends up inside of the blanket in a big wad since the sides separate. It can’t be washed alone because it is too heavy and stops the cycle without draining properly. I would not recommend this blanket if you intend to use and wash the blanket regularly.

I don’t understand all the great reviews. This is is a very strange throw. The two sides of the throw are joined only at the edges. Another reviewer has pointed this out as well. When the throw is washed , it literally becomes an inside out mess. I am shocked that Nordstrom would sell something this shoddy and at this price point- just awful.

As a current college student, I’m used to keeping expenses and quality low. However after seeing this blanket at a relatives house, I had to have one! Unfortunately when I visited the store, due to popularity every single one had sold out. However two wonderful Nordstrom employees pulled me aside and helped me pick and order one in through their computer! It arrived the next week and is easily the best thing that I’ve bought for myself in a long time. The blanket is unbelievably soft, warm, slightly weighted, and how proven to be such high quality. This is a fantastic gift for anyone (including yourself!). I give it 6 out of 5 stars.

This blanket is two pieces of fabric sewn together with a few pieces of thread. The stitching came apart after once wash on the gentle cycle and low heat in the dyer. This is the second UGG blanket I’ve purchased from Nordstrom that has fallen apart after a single wash. Very disappointed with the quality.

This is the softest throw on the market. I'll admit the price can be a turn off for most consumers. However you get what you pay for. I've owned other throws in the past I've paid $16 for they aren't soft they serve the purpose of keeping you warm and they tend to tear up after washing a few times and if you are like me you buy more to replace them. The UGG Coastline throw is not only soft it's very heavy and will keep you cozy and warm. It's actually a long throw too so it covers from my shoulders down to my feet I'm 5' 7" and my husband is 6'ft and it's still covers his feet. I'm so glad I invested in this throw . I actually purchased one in the store and once I got home I immediately ordered another online for my husband because I didn't have buyers remorse as I normally would after paying so much for an item you'd use one season. Additionally I knew he and my dog would eventually take mine and I didn't want to share. I viewed the purchases as an investment. We will have both throws for years to come. We both hate the winter months but we both will be able to curl up on the couch on our individual throws and watch TV with our dog for seasons to come. I don't see these tearing up after washing. Ugg has quality products and has a reputation for luxury item that last for years.
