not usual St John quality
On the fence as to whether keeping or returning for two reasons: 1) fabric quality & construction not on par with usual impeccable St John quality and the price (even on sale) 2) body and sleeve length are fine but width is much wider than depicted in photos which means coat does not look as sharp/tailored as it does online. Would’ve preferred an XS but not listed or sold out. In addition, the buttons on taupe side are black IRL, not the neutral colour in website photos. Do not care for the black buttons. However, the style and weight/thickness are perfect for travel and reversibility makes for a highly versatile piece. But it arrived very wrinkled despite being properly packaged on a hanger in a box (recently most Nordstrom items arrive scrunched up in a bag) which is unusual for wool and the wrinkles are not falling out so maybe not so great for travel. Overall disappointing as St John quality is usually faultless.
