Tune 135BT Bluetooth In-Ear Headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune 135BT is definitely a great budget option for the price point to get in-ear Bluetooth Headphones. The sound quality coming into the ear is good, and these have great audio quality when taking phone calls. I found that the silicone ear pieces don’t tend to stay in my ears too well during long listening sessions, even when using the smallest pieces that are provided, but that may just be personal preference. The cable never gets tangled, they’re super convenient to bring place to place, and the magnetic earbuds are very useful for ensuring they don’t fall off your neck when not in use. Overall, I’d recommend the JBL Tune 135BT if you are looking for an affordable in-ear set of headphones; but if you want top of the line audio quality/comfort, these may not be for you.

I can wear them both at my desk and on the go for meetings, music, and phone calls all seamlessly connected to different devices at the same time. The battery lasts for multiple days of use on one charge and is very simple to use and connect. Sound quality is great and in line with what you would expect from other JBL headphones. The bass is very warm and smooth while high end treble is still clear and crispy. The Tune 135BT’s come with 3 different size sets of rubber earbud fittings so they can securely accommodate most ear sizes quite comfortably making them great for all day use. When not in use, the buds snap together magnetically securing them around your neck. Very handy to keep them in place when you need to take them out for a minute. The simple one-piece design of these earbuds makes daily use easy and convenient. When paired with the JBL app, you can take advantage of many additional features like a customizable equalizer and balancer, volume limiter, voice aware volume adjustment for calls, find my headphones feature, pawer saving mode, relax mode, and more! I really enjoy the Tune 135BT’s for all my daily uses.

I wasn't expecting much from in ear headphones at this range, but they surprised me. I mainly use them at work, and before this, I was constantly taking earbuds out and setting them down somewhere, then losing track of them. With these sitting around your neck, you can just drop them without worrying about where they went, which has been a big plus. The app is actually useful too. You can switch the audio to come through just over earbud if you want to wear one side, which I ended up using more than I thought. Comfort wise, I had no issues wearing them for a full 8 hours shift. The bass is solid, nothing crazy but definitely good. And the battery easily lasted me the entire workday. I also used them for calls, but definitely good for working out .

They came through with a clear and rich, full bodied sound coupled with all day comfort. Using in conjunction with the JBL app, users can pick preset EQ setting (club, studio, bass etc..) or customize their own settings. These in-ear headphones are engineered with JBL Pure Bass Sound which offer superb lows from something so compact. There is also “find my headphones” and multipoint connection which allows for switching between two devices seamlessly. I loved the warm tones in my jazz, the liveliness in my pop and the bass in my hip-hop. Phones calls were also as clear as a bell with no complaints. Being able to let these hang around my neck is an underrated featured these days as it is nice to know exactly where they are when I’m ready to pop them back in. The JBL Tune 135 BT is a great solution if you want lasting comfort, all day battery (25 hour rating), IPX4 water resistance for durability and customizable sound while wrapped in a easy to use design with even easier to use controls!

Compared to the wireless options on the market today, they felt a little like a portal back in time. I would say that if you’re looking for a low cost entry point and like wires, they are worth a try. For me, the design, size and comfort fell short.
