Tune 135BT Bluetooth In-Ear Headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune 135 BT Wireless in-ear headphones sound great and are surprisingly comfortable to wear all day due to their smaller in-ear portion compared to other TWS style earbuds. Having the headphones connected together with the neck loop provides additional peace of mind from them falling out and hitting the ground or getting lost. There is no need to keep track of a separate charging case while they are in use. The earbud portion fits securely but these headphones may not be ideal for activities such as running since the weight of the cable can pull the headphones out over time. Otherwise the headphones stay put without any issues. Build quality is solid and the cables feel extra durable. The sound quality is great and fully customizable from the JBL Headphones app. I used an older JBL Tune 125BT model for years and The JBL Tune 135BT is a definite step up from the older model. The JBL Headphones app and customizable options really help make these headphones stand out and sound exactly how I want. The highs are crisp, mids are full and there is plenty of clear accurate JBL Pure Bass for any music style. The sound is also consistent at all volume levels and outside noises are fairly well isolated with this design. Call quality was clear on both ends of the call and convenient to be able to quickly answer while using the headphones. Battery life was better than expected. After a week of use for a few hours a day, the battery was still above 50%. Charging is also quick through the USB-C port. The headphones were easy to quickly pair with my devices. The control buttons are intuitive and convenient reducing the need to interact with your phone or music player for simple volume controls or track changes. Overall the JBL Tune 135BT is a solid set of headphones that I would recommend to anyone looking for great sounding simple to use option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Strating off with the design, I like it. It's clean, simple and doesn't get in the way of many everyday tasks. The carefully placed batteries and electronic parts along the wire provide a 'safety catch' if the earbuds ever happen to fall out of your ear. Which brings me to my first gripe, the earbuds themselves. No matter the size of the rubber sleeve the left ear tip always fell out. It comes down to the design of the buds themselves, if they had been more formed around the outer canal it might have been more snug. However, that isn't to say the tech inside is bad. I really love how quickly it pairs with a phone. One doesn't consider how quickly something pairs until you come across that one device that takes longer than expected, and you just want to get up and go and you're still waiting. The sound stage is also pretty good for a pair of ear buds. Bass is a little over powered which then makes the mid range suffer a lot. It's particular noticable when something like the medium tom on a drum set is hit, it sounds muffled. It's your typical V shaped EQ preset that most people won't care to change since it sounds decent enough. Overall, if your on a budget and want good sound quality, these are definitely the earbuds to run. The lightweight and barely noticeable along with the battery life of 25 hours, with type C charging? I would definitely pick these up if I was on a budget.
