'Triton' Espadrille Wedge (Women)

I got these in silver and blue and they are A LOT shinier than appear in the picture. They look like they are made out of tin foil, lots of glitter. Not at all what I was going for. They also run very large. However, I own them in black and they are great - much less shiny and fun a size smaller than these.

I like to move fast in the heat - complicated straps and ties for summer dressing look gorgeous but seem ridiculous to me - so when I found these espadrilles in a gold glitter fabric I had to have them for all of my summer parties, concerts and events (this seemed to be one year with a lot of them). They slip on quick, fit my foot well (no overhand on the heel, not so high that I will turn my ankle on a lawn party) and look swell! What more would you want? The only problem I had was that the elastic on the right one felt like it was a bit shorter than the left (therefore rubbing a bit against my heel), so I ordered another pair to see if it felt a bit better. Otherwise, I think a little moleskin will do the trick. Comfortable and dressy (especially with a long patio dress). Will definitely buy this brand again!
