St. Lucia Cover-Up Midi Dress

I was concerned by so many reviews mentioning poor quality & sizing issues. I decided to give it a try & just return if not to my liking. So glad I tried. Ordered a black and dark tea leaf. Both fit…differently but they fit. I wear an XL in TB & that’s what I ordered. Bias cut gives the skirt a nice draping flow. The straps on black dress are slightly wider and cover my bra straps. Not the case with the green dress where same bra’s straps are visible. Both dresses need a 1” tuck under the arm to eliminate excess fabric that curves out. This is a frequent problem for me with sleeveless dresses due to a small chest. It is definitely not the fault of this dress as I’ve become well-skilled at this sewing task over the years and across most brands. Give the dress a try if you’re pondering. I think these will be highly versatile on upcoming HI trip and cute with TB linen jacket for breezy evenings.

I returned this very poorly made dress. I would be embarrassed to wear it. It is terribly ill fitting. From upper waist it fit just O.K. BUT from there up it was so wrongly cut that I could have put my upper arms inside the top of the dress. Whoever drew the dress pattern was totally off their work . It was so ill fitting that it makes me question Tommy Bahama's standards
