What it is: A serum-textured sunscreen to provide broad-spectrum SPF 45 sun protection.
What it does: By providing both UVA and UVB coverage, this formulation protects against sun damage and reduces premature skin aging caused by the sun. This daily sun care formulation is lightweight and white cast-free. It is also compatible with other makeup and skin-care products to allow for easy layering. The UV Filters SPF 45 Serum also offers instant and all-day hydration support, is noncomedogenic (does not clog pores) and provides skin with a natural-looking luminous finish.
How to use: Shake the sunscreen serum well before use apply to face liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating for use on children less than 6 months of age: ask a doctor.

Great product!
This is the only SPF I have found that seems to suit my skin. It absorbs well, doesn’t pill and isn’t greasy. It doesn’t clog my pores and I can wear it all day without the fear of a breakout like every other (and sometimes very expensive) SPF i have tried. I’m perimenopausal and this has been an asset to my regimen.

Not recommended for sensitive skin
The consistency of this and how it sits on your skin is lovely. However I have sensitive skin and have reacted really badly to this after 3 days of use. It's caused me to have bumpy skin down my neck and on the third day I had to stop wearing it because my cheeks were burning when it was applied. I've since stopped and it's now a couple of days after and my skin has dried out and I'm using E45 as moisturiser.
Just as a warning to anyone that may have remotely sensitive skin.
I'm gutted because it's a great consistency for me and didn't leave the skin feeling oily at all. And all that at a reasonable price point!

My face broke out in spots badly.
I bought this in March because it went out of stock before I could get my hands on it last year. I used it for the first time today as it has been a lovely 24 degree sunny day.
I have acne prone and sensitive skin (aged 42) and my face hates spf. I’m sorry to say that at 7pm when I went in for a shower my whole face was covered in red spots. Big ones, small bumpy ones and ones with white heads. I’m gutted. Another spf I cannot use and another waste of my money. I don’t know what I’m going to use when I go to Spain in August 😔
1 star is for the nice packaging.

Seriously the best!
AMAZINGGG! I ordered this in my last order, and I cannot rave about this enough! Hands down the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. I love that my face doesn’t feel greasy, oily and it doesn’t have the nasty sunscreen smell. The smell is very subtle and after a min or two you don’t even smell it. It even holds up under my foundation/makeup, and doesn’t make it separate by the end of the day. I will be ordering this for as long as The Ordinary carries it. Life long customer now with this one bottle and all their other amazing products.

Sticky and shiny. Not for me.
I got this as an introductory freebie. Looked forward to trying it. It dried down nicely on my hand, but on my face with a few layers of non-greasy skin care, it was sticky, shiny, and did not dry down at all. I had to blot the oily look off my face. Very disappointed. Maybe it works for very dry skin. I guess I will use the rest on arms when I’m going to be outside.
