What it is: A serum-textured sunscreen to provide broad-spectrum SPF 45 sun protection.
What it does: By providing both UVA and UVB coverage, this formulation protects against sun damage and reduces premature skin aging caused by the sun. This daily sun care formulation is lightweight and white cast-free. It is also compatible with other makeup and skin-care products to allow for easy layering. The UV Filters SPF 45 Serum also offers instant and all-day hydration support, is noncomedogenic (does not clog pores) and provides skin with a natural-looking luminous finish.
How to use: Shake the sunscreen serum well before use apply to face liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating for use on children less than 6 months of age: ask a doctor.

terrible UV ingredients.
This has terrible UV ingredients - I expected better from TO. I think this only has a 4 star rating because so many got it for free.

Great for year round use

Great coverage but makes my face look slick.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ordinary UV Filters SPF 45 Serum sunscreen is fragrance free and provides effective sun protection, which I truly appreciate. It offers great coverage and doesn’t leave a white cast when blended well into the skin.
However, the texture is slightly on the thicker side and leaves a greasy, slick finish. With combination skin that tends to get oilier during the summer months, this kind of finish isn’t ideal for my face. Because of that, I’d prefer using it on my body rather than my face to avoid looking overly shiny.

Good Spf
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was gifted by The Ordinary. I have normal/combo skin and wear spf every single day. This one is a nice thin texture and smooths in easily. It does leave a bit of a white cast until I make sure to get it all blended in. It does leave a rather oily look on my skin which is especially noticeable on my t-zone immediately after application. I usually let it sit for about 15 mins and then go in with a blotting sheet to help the shine a bit. It definitely makes me look quite oily even earlier than I would normally but I do feel like the spf is effective as I've been out in direct sun and not had any redness afterward.

Amazing sunscreen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent the most AMAZING sunscreen by The Ordinary! This sunscreen has SPF 45 and leaves no white cast. Immediately when put on the skin you can see how much it makes your skin glow!!! I am absolutely in love. If you don’t like the smell or feeling of sunscreen this is definitely for you! This sunscreen is complimentary from theordinary and I am so happy I got my hands on it and you will too!!!
