Comfortable Fit
Purchased this vest for my mom as a Christmas gift and it looks much better on the body than on the hanger. The cinched in waist is very flattering. Material is light but very warm. Easy to pack since there is not much fill. Would buy again!

Shaped like a man
I was not prepared for the boxy shape of this vest or the crazy length. Granted, the modeled vest has not one princess seam to be had, but the idea isn't entirely farfetched--I own a NF thermoball jacket in midnight blue that keeps me warm and is slightly nipped at the waist. Other than the pretty thyme color, the cut of the vest was a huge disappointment and it was waaaay too long. Add to extremely shapeless shoulders shaped like football pads gaping arm holes the size of my thigh. Whaaaaattt?!?! I thought for a moment if I loved it enough to have it professionally tailored, like I did two Talbot's vests a few years back, but I got them on sale so I still made out. Nope. This vest was full price and would need extensive tailoring...extensive. NF you can do better. I couldn't return this vest fast enough.

northface quality BUT..
Great vest and love the pattern. It’s subtle and different. Fits true to size and love the length which is what I needed to replace my old vest. Fatal FLAW is the pockets are NOT lined with fleece and should be. These are a basic in other brands and very functional. I really wish these were fleece lined pockets. I’ll probably take to my tailor to redo pockets.

Love the Thyme Color But...
This vest just did not fit properly. It gapped under the arms and looked really weird. While it fit nicely on the rest of the body, the under arm gapping was just too much, so back it went.
