The MX Sandal

This brand is all the rave with travel/fashion bloggers. So when I was considering a cute sandal for my European vacation I decided on this shoe. The reviews advised to size up so I did. They seem to be tts as the 1/2 size bigger is too big. Could be a good shoe, but the downside for me was when I walked the shoe made a crinkling noise as if the leather (faux?) wasn’t adhered to the base of the shoe. Overall the shoe doesn’t meet up to the price point in style, appearance, quality. Disappointing.

I needed some comfortable slides and tried to give this brand a chance. The leather pokes into your skin and is very uncomfortable. I trusted that they were true to size, got my normal Medium Size 8, but my heel seemed to be right on the edge and looked awkward. I tried to bring my toes more forward so my heel was not hanging off but it was just uncomfortable. I bought the tie up strap sandals from this brand last year and NEVER wore them because they are so awkward and uncomfortable. I am not buying sandals again from this brand. They are expensive shoes and should have a better design especially since they tout “comfort”.

I love my MX sandal. Margaux shoes and sandals are truly the most comfortable that I have ever worn. The cost may be a bit higher than I would usually spend, but they are definitely worth it. Looking forward to the warmer weather and to wearing these. I would love to see some additional colors - maybe some suede.

While ridiculously expensive for what this sandal is, it is nonetheless the first of its kind (in my search) that fits a narrow foot. I ordered and returned (via Nordstrom) the ankle strap sandals in (supposedly) narrow width that were anything but. My foot slid all over the place in those and I couldn't get them returned fast enough. I have other MArgaux shoes and I find them to be inconsistent in sizing in narrow width.
