The MX Sandal

This brand is all the rave with travel/fashion bloggers. So when I was considering a cute sandal for my European vacation I decided on this shoe. The reviews advised to size up so I did. They seem to be tts as the 1/2 size bigger is too big. Could be a good shoe, but the downside for me was when I walked the shoe made a crinkling noise as if the leather (faux?) wasn’t adhered to the base of the shoe. Overall the shoe doesn’t meet up to the price point in style, appearance, quality. Disappointing.

I needed some comfortable slides and tried to give this brand a chance. The leather pokes into your skin and is very uncomfortable. I trusted that they were true to size, got my normal Medium Size 8, but my heel seemed to be right on the edge and looked awkward. I tried to bring my toes more forward so my heel was not hanging off but it was just uncomfortable. I bought the tie up strap sandals from this brand last year and NEVER wore them because they are so awkward and uncomfortable. I am not buying sandals again from this brand. They are expensive shoes and should have a better design especially since they tout “comfort”.

I found these to be a little wide and my foot went too forward in the strap. I ordered them in a medium width which is what I usually order in shoes but didn't reorder in a narrow so I don't know if that would make a difference. I do have somewhat of a narrow foot but do not own any narrow styles. They're a nice style and well made, just not for me.
