The Hustler Frayed High Waist Ankle Bootcut Jeans

The original Mother Hustler is my favorite style and I love these in a lighter wash with frayed hems. They are not like the stretchy soft Hustlers, these are a rigid, sturdy denim. No stretch. I ordered in my usual size 24 and they were too small to zip and button. Went up to a 25 and they fit great. Nice to add a different type of denim to my jeans collection. They feel current.

I sized up based on the reviews - and wish I wouldn’t have. I’m a 25 in denim (5’4, 118) and typically go with a 24 in Mother. These fit when I first tried them on (a tad long to be a true crop on me, but with the frayed hem and easy fix if needed) but after wearing for an hour they were too big. They’re not a rigid denim - I’d say more in between the classic soft Mother stretch and a no stretch rigid denim jean material. Stick with your true size - because after an hour they’re going to be a whole size bigger.

MOTHER is typically consistent in sizing, however right now their sizes are all over the place. The styles are not consistently sized. This particular style is running 1-2 sizes smaller. Waist band also has little to no stretch.

I love the comfort of these jeans but found I had to try on many pairs of the same size to find one that fit. I'm typically a size 27 but had to go with a 28. The length also varied. The pair I bought fit below the ankle which I wanted where as other pairs were too short.

Didn’t realize these were Mother Superior and they are my first pair of this style. I love the more rigid feel to them- like real denim! I find that they fit true to size for me. I measured the inseam and it is almost 27 inches- not 27.5 as stated.

I love the shade and fit! The ingredients are 1 elastine so there's really no stretch. I find they stay up perfectly though and flatter my hourglass shape!! The fitting room attendant said they looked fantastic on me! I'm 5'4 114 and got my usual 26. No hemming yay!
