Poorly Packaged
Have purchased DeMellier bags directly from France. They have arrived meticulously packaged and with a dust bag. I was super excited to see Nordstrom was carrying this brand and ordered the Hudson. I was gob smacked when I opened the box. The purse was encased in a plastic bag that squashed the upright handles so that the whole thing would fit in the box. Needless to say, I didn't even bother opening the plastic bag and sent it back. Why someone would ruin the purse in such a way is beyond me. Such a bummer, but more a huge shock, because to me, Nordstrom has always been the gold standard in such things. I'm giving it a one star due to this Nordstrom issue. The bag itself it s 5 star. If you want it, get it directly from DeMellier.
