Was disappointed in waistband

First time to purchase a pair of jeans from Madewell and was disappointed… I felt like the waistband needed to be larger even though the size I normally take is 27 which is my normal size… I am 5’7 and 132 pounds….For the price I paid, they were not worth it so will be returning them.
