The Easy Poplin Button-Up Shirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really dislike poplin. As a petite, curvy person it is difficult to find poplin button down shirts that fit well. I was apprehensive to try this on but as soon as I did, i knew I needed to have it. I am 5ft and wear a medium. The length, both body and sleeve, are perfect. The fabric is soft and doesn't make the "crunchy" poplin sound. I love the butter yellow as well. I will consider buying another color!

I feel like this is a return to classic Madewell quality and style. This is a true French blue, and a nice weight of cotton with that little detail of of 2 top buttons. . I bought 2 of these in that gorgeous French blue and the pale blue. I will probably add a stripe. Put it on, and it instantly elevates your outfit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt was not a keep for me but it’s a nice shirt. The bright blue color almost has a little bit of intentional fading or something around the collar that otherwise wouldn’t bother me but I wanted to wear to work. Perhaps the white would have been better suited. I would also size up. I have 4 or 5 of the older style Madewell Poplin shirt with the slightly exaggerated side slits and those are more TTS. Love the blue color, wish it had worked out but will continue to purchase Madewell poplin.
