The Perfect Jeans
I love Mother and these jeans are absolutely perfect. I’d say they run true to size. I’m 5’7 and 140lbs with an athletic build and the size 28 fits great, however I could have probably gotten a 27 and they’d likely stretch. These are long on me, so I’ll have to hem them but they are a pair I can tell I’ll be wearing all the time.

Inconsistent Sizing
I have the Weekenders in a size 29 - zero stretch; so I bought these Doozy in a 29 and could pull them off without even unbuttoning them - returned. So I reordered and sized down to a 27, still a little big, so I try on the 26 and they’re even bigger than the 27. See photo for this nonsense. I checked the stitched tags to see if Nordstrom accidentally sent the wrong item, nope.
You aren’t fat, you don’t have body dysmorphia, Mother is just incapable of quality controlling their products.

Definitely runs small!
I ALWAYS wear size 31 in jeans (Paige, AGolde, L’Agence, Hudson). I ordered a 31 and could not get these on! Will return, and size up. Length is perfect for me, but I’m tall (5’11, hourglass/athletic build, 175lbs).

BEST Mothers yet
These jeans are FANTASTIC. TALL girlies RUN to get these! They are perfection on my 5'9 frame and hit right at my heel with a low heel shoe/boot. The wash is timeless, and the slightly more structured denim--less stretch will hold shape a lot longer and is super flattering. Ins pite of less stretch this style fit perfectly in my normal Mother size 28. So great, don't wait

the rise is mid, not high
These jeans are *mid* rise, they hit below my belly button which is a shame because everything else is great, I wish they were true high rise. But the material and the length (I’m 5’8 and these hit the floor on me so I love that aspect) and the style is very cute.
