The Cropped Charles Plaid Trench Coat

I love the subtle dark plaid print and the option to do an oversized/boxy cut that is on trend while still emphasizing the waist with the tie. Super cute for fall. I got a medium and found it true to size.

I really wanted to like this jacket but it just looked sloppy on me. The arms are long and really voluminous and it just swallowed me. Cute style and I love the subtle plaid fabric, it was just too oversized for my personal preference.

I was initially so excited to get this jacket but it’s runs big and the sleeves swallowed my arms. I also couldn’t justify the price for polyester material.

The jacket overall is very cute, size is large so size dow. The reason I gave it a one star is the fabric is polyester, not a good quality for the price.

I was beyond excited to snag this during the sale but was immediately disappointed when it arrived. The coat arrived without the belt that comes with it. Without the belt you don’t achieve the desired look and fit of the trench. I contacted customer service and it can’t be replaced since it is now out of stock. Hanging onto it for a couple weeks to see if any are returned and I can exchange for replacement. Even considering having a belt made. Do better Nordstrom on your quality control! Make sure all pieces are included in the orders, please!

I’ve been waiting for my size in this jacket even though the reviews don’t look so great. A size Med came available so I thought I’d give it a try even though I’m normally a Small and sadly it was too large. The sleeves are long, the arms are full and make you look 10 pounds heavier and the waist just appeared large even for a Med. For reference I’m 5’4, 34D and 133#. What really irritates me is when I go to try it on and the sensor tag is still attached. How did the person not notice the large white metal sensor in the front when they were shoving it into the tiny plastic bag it came in. Do better Nordstrom!
