The City Sandal

This is my THIRD pair of City Sandals, which is an indication of how much I LOVE this style. They are comfortable and chic. They’ve become an important part of my wardrobe. I wear half a size smaller in an open back shoe; the fit of these shoes is consistent with other shoes I wear, which is just another thing I appreciate about Margaux’s shoes, they fit well. However, the ankle straps were WAY too long on all 3 pairs. I needed to have my husband punch 3 more holes in each of the straps, which is odd, since I don’t have thin ankles, thin legs or even narrow feet. The only downside is that the straps are too long now, so they stick out a bit. Clearly that doesn’t bother me much.

This is my first Margaux purchase and I love it. The sandal looks great with casual outfits and can be dressed up for summer. The very first day I wore the City sandal was for an all day event with moderate walking. No breaking in needed, as they were confortable from the first moment and lasted all day long. I drove to the new Culver City boutique to try on the sandals in person because I was not sure about the sizing. I am an 6. 5 but for this pair and all the Margaux shoes that I tried on in person, I need a size 7. Now that I have the size 7 City Sandals they feel a little loose.
