Tessa Waterproof Knee High Boot

While I do have enough black boots, I was looking for one that was little dressier for skirts/dresses, with some height, but comfortable and this fits the bill. Based on advice online and reviews, I went up from a 5 1/2 to a 6, but actually 5 1/2 probably would have fit better. Sometimes I get 6 because I like a little extra room in a boot and boots don't fall off, but these actually do feel a bit too big but I will keep them because I'm lazy and perhaps 5 1/2 wouldn't be as comfortable. I have short legs, so they fit me fine, but others might find the length a bit too far from their knees. My calves are relatively slender and the fit is fitted, but with room to spare and not too tight. I like that they are somewhat fitted around my ankle but not at all clingy.
