These tea towels have been handloomed at The Salvation Army’s production center in Jashore, Bangladesh. Using large manual looms, our artisans produce beautiful, high-quality textiles. Traditional looming techniques have been fine-tuned and passed through several generations. Through good working conditions and fair wages our goal is to contribute to economic empowerment for the weavers and their families.

Other's Trade for Hope works through relationships with local Salvation Army programs that focus on economic development in rural and urban settings which includes groups focusing on women's empowerment and projects for rehabilitation of sex workers or trafficking victims. Others has active production groups in Bangladesh and Kenya, where all products are handmade.
