Tailored Linen Barrel-leg Pants

I wanted to love these pants. They are perfectly tailored and fit beautifully. The linen is a great weight. I love the mix of the pleats and the subtle balloon legs. However, they have two problems. One is how high waisted they are. They are practically up to my rib cage. And that’s saying a lot because I have a long torso. The other is that you can see the line on the thigh where the lining ends. I could see it in one of the pictures online, but thought maybe it was just the way the sun was shining on the model because it wasn’t obvious in the pictures of the model in the studio. Unfortunately, I could see the line in every type of lighting I tried them in. I was willing to deal with it if it was an occasional problem. But to see it all the time is not what I’m looking for. Back they go.
