And it's surely one of the softest, thanks to American-grown Supima cotton. We also sew gussets at the side seams for untucked wear, and —it's subtle, but significant —two pleats on the sleeve (rather than the former three) blousiness. As always, the fabric stays smooth for 30 washes without the touch of an iron.Supima isconscientiouslysourced, American-grown cotton that's farmed to minimize environmental impact. The fibers are 50% longer than standard cotton, so yarns are stronger, softer, less prone to fraying or pilling, and hold color longer.
