Super small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hat is super cute and looks well made from a quick glance. But sizing is ridiculous. After reading the reviews I decided to go with 12/18 mo size for my FIVE month old (50th percentile head), and it was pretty snug on his head. There is definitely no room to grow. I'll have to return it.

Baby boys swim hat
The hat is lovely quality, but the size 6 to 12 months is way too small for my 8 month old grandson. I think people should know this hat runs very small. I didnt see this mentioned in other reviews or I would have purchased a larger size.

Soft breathable fabric with quality stitching. If your babys size is in higher percentile range for their age, you should size up a size. Our 4 month old has no problem wearing this hat. The brim coverage has great coverage for sun protection.

Great hat!!
We purchased this hat for our almost-three-year-old son before our Mexico vacation. Our expectations were pretty low because he doesnt like hats, but our experience was the opposite! Because he loves trucks and the hat was comfortable, our son wore this hat every time we were on the beach! Now, he wears it when we go to the pool and doesnt complain. Thank you for making a three-year-old-approved hat!
