After Class Sweatshirt

I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I was disappointed with this item. The one I received was still on the stores display hanger, shoved into a plastic bag, and then tossed into a recycled box. The shoulders are doing that thing where they’re a little malformed from hanging on the hanger. I was expecting an oversized fit, but it’s large enough that I would suggest going down a size. I felt lost in the size medium and I’m a 36DD . I was hoping to wear it with matching leggings as a cute athleisure running errands type outfit, but it just makes me feel frumpy.

I love the sweatshirt - it is a great shape and very flattering. In general I would try size 8 as a first pass in any shop and purchased an XS. It depends how loose you want it. A small was roomy and would work if that is what I wanted. XXS does fit, but I preferred more room in the arms that the XS gave me. I have three in different colours ... might buy even more, but my drawers are bulging! I do like the Midnight Cherry colour; I have light blue (Breeze Blue?) and green (Gem Green?), which are all good colours too.

Dissapointingly the sweatshirt shrunk on first wash even at 30 degrees delicate as care instructions and non-bio washing liquid. This is not the first Sweaty betty sweatshirt to shrink despite following the washing instructions and therefore I would need convincing of the quality before purchasing any of their jumpers in future.
