Super-Star Low Top Sneaker (Women)

These are fabulous shoes, and extremely comfortable. I styled them with a short navy dress and it was perfect. They look equally good with jeans and shorts and dressier pants. For sizing reference, I bought a size 10/40, which is the size I wear in brands such as Ferragamo and America brands. In most other Italian brands like Manolo or Gucci, I wear a 41 (11), and that would have been too large for me in this shoe (which I wore without socks). I found them very comfortable with nice padding in the sole, but they definitely don’t fit like a regular sneaker. The heel is slightly elevated which I really enjoy. It elongates the leg and looks so good. I also find the distressing on this version to be more tasteful than others.

I purchased this particular color combination because it's a standout neutral with my casual wardrobe given I wear a lot of navy, gray, white and denim. I like the fact that they have a retro feel and a pre worn look. It's nice not to have to worry about getting a scuff or mark on them as they already come with them :-) These were were comfy right out of the box (size 6)and required no breaking in as I thought they might being leather. I just wear the toe covers from Hue with these. At first I have to admit thinking that they were pretty pricey for a tennis shoe, but as much as I find myself wearing them they are well worth the price. I won't hesitate to purchase again from GG when I spy the right pair.
