Ready for high-output days, this ultralight half-zip shields with broad-spectrum UPF 50+ sun protection, stretches for easy movement and stays fresh with plant-based odor control—then packs into its own pocket when the sun dips.

Fabrication: 87% nylon, 13% elastane with HeiQ Mint plant-based odor-control technology; UPF 50+. Imported.

Measurements/Fit: Regular fit; pullover with center half-zip and lightweight auto-lock zipper; raglan sleeves for mobility; elastic binding at neck, cuffs and hem; packs into internal pocket with gear loop.

Cute, breathable for outdoors in high heat

Very breathable in super hot Texas heat. With the UPF protection it felt better to me than going out for a long walk in a tank with sunscreen.

Light as a breeze

The fabric is perfect for outdoors, keeping the sun off and being exceptionally lightweight. The color in the photo is accurate. The color is a little softer looking in person and is a big hit with friends. It is not wick away, so with a lot of exertion on a hot humid day, it might not vent as well as you would like, but you can zip is down and most days it works well to play active sports. I bought the small/petite size and fit just right - loose and boxy, making it very comfortable for sports. It is well made. I also have the light blue one.

Comfortable and light

I’ve recently become a huge MH fangirl. I love the variety and quality of the sun protective shirts, and this one if no exception. This top is nice and airy, the color is *chef’s kiss*. I like that it’s not clingy and the zipper provides great ventilation. I loooove that there isn’t a hood. I don’t like having a hood on everything since I like to use hats or bandanas to cover my neck. Definitely want to get some more colors (looking at you, red!)

The best sun shirts!

Hands down, Mountain Hardwear has the best sun shirts. I wear sun shirts in the summer/early fall months so I want lightweight and looser fitting. I also own the Sunblocker hoody. I love that there are no thumb holes, the overall and sleeve length are perfect (I'm petite, 5'3"), they are looser (not sticking to the sweat on my body), and the material is on the thinner, breathable side. I have worn and washed both shirts are they hold up very well.
