Sun Crest Packable Hybrid Straw Fedora Visor

"Very Classy!" that is the comment I repeatedly receive when I am wearing this hat. It is well made, tightly woven and has an adjustable strap at the rear to customize your fit. A definite keeper. However, the text of the description for "can be crumpled and crushed" is misleading. The instruction tag attached to the hat clearly states that it needs to be placed upside down and packed under the brim and inside the crown. I don't think it would do well being crumpled, it is too stiff which keeps it looking smart.

I hesitated on this hat due to the price, but I am SO GLAD I bought it. I’m just back from a spring break trip to Cabo and this hat was perfection. I will use it all summer long at home too. The brim is just wide enough to shade the face without being ridiculously big. And the flat back makes it perfect for sitting on loungers. I have a pretty standard adult medium size head and had no issues with the hat being too small, it was just right. Only downside is it’s not “packable” in the sense of being foldable. You can pack it in a suitcase (I did with no problem) but you have to strategically place it so as not to crush it.

This is my second Eric Javits hat. It's beautiful, light and I love the fact that the brim is narrow in the back because I can wear my hair in a pony tail with no problem. There is a Velcro strap in back so the hat can be easily adjusted for size, and the washable terry cloth removable insert in front is great for keeping the interior band clean. Thrilled with this purchase and definitely worth the money!
