x Amelia Gray The Gray Relaxed Bootcut Jeans

I am usually a 30/31 in frame jeans I’m 5‘8“ tall 160 pounds. These jeans are huge. I love the color. The fabric is really nice but they’re very heavy so it’s not much of a summer jean even though they are yellow. I took some pictures with the jeans on before styling and after styling you can see how long they are. I would hesitate wearing a crop top with them. They are 34 inches inseam which is usually a good length for me because of my height, but these jeans are exceedingly long and baggy. I think I could almost see them being cropped jeans if you were to be brave enough to cut them, but for $250 I’m a little reluctant to do that. I will likely return them. The button fly is a bit of a nuisance because it’s tucked behind a panel. I’m 68 and I remember jeans being very low cut on the hip in the early 2000s and they were great and they hugged the thigh a little bit more and then they bell out at the knee. Where are we going with jeans today? Are we trying to be baggy and low waisted? It’s not a great look for all the body types out there. They also gap in the back waist. A belt fixes it fine. In the last pic I tucked the hem under three inches.

I’m genuinely curious to understand the body shape of people saying these were “too big” or “run baggy”. i’m a size 25 in every pair of jeans i own and i couldn’t get these to sit above my crack. If you’re a girl with a booty, do NOT order your same size; go one size bigger. These jeans look beautiful and feel very high quality, but they have no stretch, are very low-waisted, and have the dreaded multi-button front instead of a zipper. I think these are (sadly) made for the latest “hyper thin” craze rather than those of us with some cheek. I literally can’t even imagine trying to sit down in public with these. I want to order the 26 but the crotch-to-waist length is so insanely short that I’m unsure if that will even help. Maybe order two sizes if you’re considering buying these and actually enjoy food.

I wish that I loved the jeans as much as I did from the photo. I am 115 pounds and 5’8”. I ordered a 25 and 26 thinking that one of those would work for me. Unfortunately, both were so large on me. I wish I had ordered a 24 and 25, and now the 24s are out of stock. I will say, though, the quality and design of the jeans is amazing. The wash is the perfect shade for spring and summer, or year round. I will be stocking this store as well as any others that have this Jean until I find a smaller size because I love them. Also there is zero stretch and that was another reason I wasn’t concerned because I am used to jeans with some stretch in them. A 23 or a 24 would be perfect!!

love everything about this jean...wearable and not too low lowrise sits nicely on the hips, the subtle bootcut looks so good with a strappy heel, the wash and fabric feels summery and they feel dressed up in a cool way. i sized down (usually a 27) and they fit perfect. a

I just bought these and I really loved how the jeans looked online and in the campaign. They fit very similarly so I don’t feel deceived just disappointed in the lack of inventory at the NYC flagship and the sizing. I measured my waist it’s almost 29 inches. But the 29 was BAGGY and gaping in the back. I don’t have a particularly large behind nor am I very hippy just standard hourglass. So I got the 28 which is on the precipice of being too big. I was thinking of getting them altered but I want to try the 27 first. Too bad they were out of stock and I hate waiting for online shipments. May just return.
