Celia Riding Boot (Women)

Great shaft - height hit right at the bottom of my knee and the i always do end up with a gap on the outer side of my calves (i have a 14.75" calf circumference), but I found the material was still parallel to my legs instead of slanting outwards which is much more flattering. The boots have no zipper, but were incredibly easy to pull on since the leather material is phenomenal. Ended up saying no to them because the ankle area just isn't structured enough, and from the front, you can so clearly see the break between the foot and the calf, which I don't like.

The image, noted in the item page, is not as depicted. What I received is a pair of boots that may not have been worn, but definitely tried on and probably stored improperly at one point; the leather failed in strength, and instead of keeping its starch looking appearance, the leather shrank down the leg to rest in folds on the ankle. This lessened the overall height of the boot(s). It's a gorgeous pair of SW beauty and a great price, but has probably been purchased and returned and tried on far too much for a "salon" level pair of designer goods.

Quality shoemakers Stewart Weitzman produce lovely shoes and boots. I was looking to retire a pair of Equestrian style boots I’ve had for years. These arrived and while beautifully made, they looked and felt clunky on. Not my cup of tea and at this price point I’ve since sent them back and reordered a different style of SW from Nordstrom. Not Nordstrom’s fault, just didn’t care for the boot in person. I remain a Nordstrom CFL (customer for life!) The best store out there.
