Can't live without

When I need to take a break from using gel polish, I will apply regular polish from Nailberry as find the polishes are very kind to my nails and I love the shade range. This base coat is a little more expensive than others but it really is worth it - if I apply it before polish, I find the polish lasts much longer and there's no damage to my nails.

Nails chip immediately!

Pros: lightweight, fast-drying, paints on evenly Cons: I've used with a Nailberry colour and with another brand, and on both occasions my nails chipped immediately. Would definitely not recommend as a base coat, perhaps useful as a strengthener on its own.

Actually helps my nails

I do really like this as it makes my nails looks a little "done" while taking care of them. It is pretty quick to dry if you go with two thin coats. I appreciate that as I have a new baby and am time poor. What I don't love is that it doesn't last particularly well.

Strengthening with milky appearance

This has definitely made my nails stronger and less prone to bending. I wasn’t expecting it to have a milky colouring so you have to apply it carefully so it doesn’t pool and look white by your cuticles. The smell is very strong and it does take a while to dry as others have mentioned which is another slight downside.

Great, breathable base coat

Love Nailberry products and this base coat doesn't disappoint. it looses a star as it is slow to dry, however the advantages outweigh the negatives. My nails are healthy and strong and not stained by even the darkest of nail colours - exactly what a base coat should do.The base itself gives a nearly there / French polish effect on its own which is pretty in itself.

Excellent base

My nails were left weak and soft after having a shellac manicure removed, I rarely have one and won’t again as my nails don’t seem strong enough. I am delighted to have found this brand and have tried several products and excited to try more, this base cost seems really good all the products seem to work well together.

Good for strengthening

This is a great base coat for colour nail varnish. I have used it with the Nailberry gloss top coat and it has lasted a long time. This has also really helped to prevent nail breakage so that I can grow my nails. I would highly recommend this base coat.
