Short straps - nice material

I wanted to love these. The material is very soft and them seem like they would be so comfortable. But I could barely fit the strap around my ankle (and I have fairly skinny/average ankles). I got them buckled on the loosest hole, but straps dug into my ankles when I walked. The straps needed another inch or two.
