Stavel Jacket - Men's

Best fleece jacket, or any fleece garment for that matter, I have ever tried on. Even compared to your own Nexus fleece jacket which I had and returned from another seller. This Steval jacket is a warm, comfortable jacket which fits beautifully without being painted on or overly baggy. I'm 65 yr old male 5'11" 125lbs ( no excess flab anywhere ). Words can't describe how pleased I am with comfort, fit, and fabric quality of this jacket. I probably tried half a dozen other fleece jackets, coats, and sweaters from other makers and returned them all—or left them in the store. And to those considering wool, forget it. If you don't mind spending 2. 5x the price for something that's not as comfortable and soft as this, be my guest. Rab, you're quite simply the best outdoor garment maker on the planet. Thanks so much for another fine garment. FYI, the Nexus is very snug and more difficult to get on and off. It's lighter by 2oz but not as useful to me as a warm comfortable garment to kick around in. Which is what I use this for—not climbing Mt Everest.

The fit and look of this jacket is phenomenal, my favorite of the Rab light jackets I’ve had over the years. But the fabric pills horribly after only a few wears, which continues to get worse after 20 wears, and hair and small pieces of debris and everything sticks to it. It is clear that this fabric has not been actually tested by Rab which is very disappointing.
