easy return and extremely disappointed
I first bought this on the anniversary sale but had to return as the xl was huge. Decided I liked it enough to pay full price ($698) for it so reordered. First sale coat came in a box in a plastic cover nicely packed. The full price replacement arrived wadded up in a plastic mailer solo, no protection and a wrinkled mess. I didn’t even try it on. I’ve had several orders arrive so poorly taped it’s surprising the items were still in the shipping boxes. For a higher end store, and specifically for a $700 cashmere coat, Nordstrom needs to up there game and someone in shipping needs to be watching quality control. Not good Nords…and very disappointing.

Pass on this one
The fabric is very soft. Since it is a cocoon style coat, it is a bit oversized and boxy. There is no back vent for ease of movement. The sleeves are long which I think may be intentional so the knit cuffs almost act like mitts. The knit cuff on one sleeve is crooked on the coat I received. It was also shipped, waded up in a a shipping bag. For a supposed $500 coat, it should be in a box at the bare minimum. Easy return on this one.

huge and not that exciting
This jacket is huge and kind of shapeless. Im not even sure the wool is that great. I often have to size up in jackets so i can wear a thicker sweater underneath but not with this one. I don’t even think it’s supposed to be an oversized look. And like the other poster mentioned the sleeves are extremely long.
I typically don’t have to shorten arm lengths on coats and with this one I definitely would.

beautiful color!!!!
wasn't sure what size I'd wear so I ordered both a M and L. The M fit, however the shoulders are a tad narrow and I'd never be able to layer under it. I was swimming in the L.
The Burnt Walnut is beautiful- loved the color. I wanted to love the coat, but it just didn't fit well.

High hopes
I really wanted to like this coat, but it had a funny chemical smell and ran really large, which I know Vince usually does, but this was larger than I would have liked. All in all it’s cute but not a keeper for me.
