Beautiful shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic fit and finish on these double monks. They feature a stretchy buckle so there is some give in the in step. They run a bit snug, as they are fairly long and slim shoe.

Poor Quality Control

Two big and obvious paint dents on the left shoe, how can this pass your QC and ship to your customer?

Comfortable

Great looking shoe quite comfortable. I had to return this shoe because the toe started to crease in the toe cap. I'm not sure if it was this particular pair of shoes or just the style...

fit is fine. reasonable comfortable for new shoes.

nice quality but leather is a little stiff. reasonable comfortable for new, not broken in, shoes. Not thrilled with the Burnish, I have polished them twice but not fully satisfied with the look. have only worn the shoes twice. Craftsmanship is good but, I don't think, as good as some of my other Allen Edmonds shoes.

Perfect fit and comfortable...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reluctant to buy online as I had never owned a pair of Allen Edmonds before; however, very happy with my purchase. I ordered a pair of black double monk straps and had basically zero break in. The shoes fit me perfectly and are very comfortable. Can't wait to order my next pair - I am stunned as to how much I like these shoes! The build quality seems to be great with zero workmanship blemishes that I have found. I purchased these shoes during a sale.

St Johns Double Monk Strap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shoe, quality leather, super comfortable. Only complaint is I wish it had a rubber sole because I love wearing them so much I am wearing the leather out quickly!
