Love these pants. Soft and comfortable
My go-to jeans, for their perfect fit, are Paige and Joe’s in which I wear size 26. With these Splendid pants I ordered both a S and XS not knowing which size was for me. It turned out to be the XS. They do have a zipper and a button closure. The comfort comes from the back of pants having an elastic waistband. There are drawstrings in front to help tighten the waistband if needed. The butt and hip area fit perfect. The pants hug the butt then flare out to a wide, loose leg starting at the thigh. The material is super soft and flowy like a lounge pant should be. My only issue with them
, for me, is they are very long. I am petite, 5’ 1”. I intend to wear these with sneakers so I will need to have them hemmed and I’ll probably be cutting off about 5 inches! I purchased the charcoal color. I can tell I’ll be wearing these a lot on the weekends. Love these pants!!

Disappointed
Disappointed in the quality, not up to what I expect from Nordstrom’s. Although the item was marked as XL, my usual size, it ran very small. More like a Medium at best.

Not sure about the negative reviews on these, they say the fabric is 100% tencel/lyocell - and that’s exactly what they are. Lightweight, semi-denim feeling fabric that hangs nicely. It’s thinner, yes, but that’s how that fabric is. That part aside, I wear a size 10 and the L fits fine. I think a medium might work too but I haven’t tried it on. One thing is the length, they’re reallllly long. I’m 5’9” and weigh 165lbs - I wore these with a 2” platform sandal and they were still pooling at the heel (and not the cute way, the annoying you step on them constantly way).
I’m def keeping they bc they are so comfy and look nice on, but I think I might have them hemmed. I will note, I returned the darker blue ones and kept the black. The darker blue looked nothing like the photo - much more uniform wash (no fading) and almost a dark acid wash blue? It wasn’t cute :)

These jeans are awesome! So soft and comfortable.. but.. way too long .. I’m 5’7 and I would have had to cut off at least 12 inches and they would still be long !

love these
Nice version of the on trend “sweatpants/jeans” without being too plain. They have enough texture to not look like sweatpants but are very soft so you don’t feel like you are in jeans. Took off one star as they are very long and needed hemming (I’m 5’6”) and the pockets are a little high for me.
