Inside, a buttery-soft fleece lining works alongside PrimaLoft Gold insulation to keep hands genuinely warm across a temperature range of 18 to 9°C, with 133g in the backhand and 60g in the palm for a distribution that prioritizes warmth where the cold finds you first without sacrificing the dexterity needed to operate buckles, zippers, and bindings. EVA foam padding across the back of the hand and knuckles adds impact protection for the moments the mountain fights back, and the Freeride Cuff hooks and loops under the jacket sleeve for a seal that keeps snow out and heat in no matter how deep the powder gets.
