Can't Go Wrong with SmartWool Socks!
SmartWool socks last a very long time if you wash them in cold water and hang them to air dry. I have this crew sock in black, navy, brown, and gray. (Some of those colors are no longer available in this style of sock. 😕) i wear women's size 11 shoes and purchase size Large in SmartWool socks. This style is a thinner cable knit crew length that pairs well with loafers and ankle boots. The heel areas eventually wore out in my 2 pairs of black crew socks, so I'm relaxing them now. The price of this sock has increased since I last night them, but they should last a long time so it's a good investment.

Love these, but do not last long
I have this shock in navy, ivory, brown. They are favorites year round, but wool is quite fine and tend to develop heel holes. My shoes are now step ins , so maybe reason why.

Too tight!
These were a bit small. They are soft and stretchy, but still felt tight. I wear a 7 1/2 women’s shoe, so these socks should have fit better. I will give them to my granddaughter. Her feet are smaller.
