Sleeveless Belted Swing Dress

I purchased the white/pink rose and pink/green floral dresses. Both are beautiful but the pink/green floral has a much lighter weight material than the pink/white rose patterned dress, which is odd since its the same dress just different patterns. The pink/white fabric is heavy enough that it actually flares out w/o any type of crinoline under it. Not so with the pink/green floral. I agree w/other reviews that the bodice is somewhat tight compared to the size. I also found the sizing puzzling. I wear a 1X across multiple brands but not with Unique Vintage. Attempted the 2X and while I could zip it, it was not a flattering fit so had to go up to the 3X but had to have it tailored b/c it was big in the waist and the bust. Found the sizing to be inconsistent with other major plus size brands. Adorable dress though. Hope to see more like it but improved sizing standards and consistency across products with fabric. Love the pockets. Would love to see a lining in the dress which would help it flare more, which is important to me since it is a fit & flare style. The dress is also very long so I had to have both hemmed (5'6) and to have it hemmed to the length similar to the photo quite a bit of fabric was cut off by my tailor.
